Biography:

Prof. K. M. Garadkar is currently working as a Professor of Physical Chemistry, Department of Chemistry, Shivaji University, Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India. He completed his Ph.D. from Shivaji University, Kolhapur, India. He has more than 25 years of Teaching and Research Experience. He involved in different academic activities across all the universities in India. He is actively engaged in preparation of nanomaterials by using very simple method with large scale. Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology: Preparations of various metal oxide nanomaterials by simple cost effective and energy efficient microwave assisted method. The Metal oxide nanomaterials are used as a Photocatalyst, Gas Sensor etc. He is author of one book chapter published by Springer. He has published more than 150 research articles in international journals which includes ACS, RSC, Elsevier, IOP, Springer and presented more than 50 research papers in international conferences. He has delivered Invited Talk in National and International conferences. His area of research includes Green methodology, clean technology and environmental cleaning. He is working as Editorial Board Member of various International Journals and reviewed more than 200 research articles of international repute like Applied Catalysis B, JPC, ACS , RSC IOP, Springer Publications etc. He has completed more than 5 major Research Projects funded by DST, UGC, BARC. Till today he has guided 11 Ph. D. Students and 8 are working in his group on various subject like formation of nanocomposite which are visible active photocatalyst. The present citations are 3366 with h index 35. He is recipient of INSA Awards in 2018.He also worked as BOS Member of various Universities in India.
