Biography:

Dr. Xiaohu Yang is a Professor and Vice Dean of the Department of Architecture, Xi’an Jiaotong University. He has rich research interests covering the broad range of transport phenomena in porous media, thermal energy storage system, solar-driven cold and heat storage for energy-saving buildings, 4E analysis for energy system. He has published over 200 peer-reviewed journal papers (H-index: 45, citations > 7200) and more than 100 international/national conference proceeding papers. He serves as organizing committee member for several conferences, and delivered more than 40 presentations/invited talks at international conferences and universities. He has received Best Poster Award at 5th ASME Micro/Nanoscale Heat and Mass Transfer International Conference, Highly Cited Research Paper Award by Applied Energy Journal, outstanding reviewers by several international journals. Member of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), International Society for Porous Media (InterPore), and International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM).
