Biography:
Dr. Asim Mushtaq is currently working as an Associate Professor of polymer and petrochemical engineering, serving at NED University in Pakistan. With a solid educational background, including a PhD from the University Technology PETRONAS in Chemistry, obtained in 2018, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his academic endeavors. Prior to his doctoral studies, Asim earned a Master of Engineering in Environmental Engineering from N.E.D University of Engineering and Technology in 2007, showcasing his commitment to interdisciplinary approaches in addressing environmental challenges. His academic journey began with a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the same institution in 2002, where he excelled academically, securing the first division and the fifth position in his class. Asim's academic prowess was evident even earlier, as he achieved first division standings in both his F.Sc. (Engineering) from Islamia Government Science College in 1995 and his Matriculation (Science) from Gulshan Cambridge School in 1992. As an Associate Professor, Asim Mushtaq continues to contribute significantly to research and education in the field, shaping the next generation of polymer and petrochemical engineers in Pakistan.
