Biography:

Zhan Peng , male, from Jinan, Shandong, PhD, professor, doctoral supervisor. He was selected as a national high-level young talent, Shandong Province Outstanding Young Scholar, Shandong University Outstanding Young and Middle-aged Scholar, and backbone of the National Natural Science Foundation Innovation Group Project; he presided over more than 10 projects (including 5 national projects) such as the National Key R&D Program, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Natural Science Foundation of China International Cooperation, and the Shandong Province Major Science and Technology Innovation Project. He has been engaged in the research and development of antiviral and major chronic disease drugs for a long time, and the three types of candidate drugs jointly developed have been transformed (among which the anti-AIDS candidate drug K-5a2 and the anti-gout candidate drug HY-0902 have obtained clinical trial approval). The results were published as the first or corresponding author in journals such as Chem Soc Rev , J Med Chem (35 articles) , Elife , Acta Pharm Sin B , J Med Virol , Med Res Rev , Signal Transduct Target Ther , Drug Resist Updat , J Mol Biol , Drug Discov Today , ACS Med Chem Lett , Eur J Med Chem , and J Infect Dis. Many of his papers are highly cited or cover papers in ESI, with an H-index of 49; he has applied for and been granted 34 national invention patents (first place); he has edited 2 monographs in Chinese and English, and participated in the editing of 6 monographs and textbooks. He serves as an editorial board member or young editorial board member of more than 10 journals, including J Med Chem , Acta Pharm Sin B , Curr Med Chem , etc.; he has hosted more than 10 special issues in Eur J Med Chem , Pharmacological Research , etc. He has won the Chinese Pharmaceutical Association-Servier Young Medicinal Chemistry Award, the International Antiviral Conference Travel Award, the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Special Researcher Scholarship, the Ministry of Education's National 100 Excellent Doctoral Dissertations Nomination, and the Shandong University Outstanding Scientific Research Achievement Award. He has been selected as one of the top 2% scientists in the world (Stanford University) and the "Top 100,000 Scientists in the World" (Pharmacy Discipline); he has been selected as one of the top 100 pharmaceutical experts with academic influence in the country.

Research Interest:

Discovery of novel antiviral, Anticancer, Neurodegenerative diseases-related agents based on rational drug design and combinatorial chemistry approaches.
