Biography:

Jonathan H. Jiang is a distinguished Senior Research Scientist at the California Institute of Technology. He has a robust educational background in the field of atmospheric science and astrophysics. In 1997, he completed a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Atmospheric Science at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He earned his Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science from York University in Toronto, Canada in 1996. Prior to this, he obtained an M.Sc. in Astrophysics from York University in 1991. His academic journey began with a B.Sc. in Astrophysics from Beijing Normal University, China, in 1985. Dr. Jiang's extensive research and academic experience have significantly contributed to advancements in atmospheric science and related fields.

Centers on developing novel methodologies for retrieving microphysical properties of ice clouds from space, Applications to the studies of cloud forcing and feedbacks to climate, Aerosol cloud interaction, Modeling climate change projections.
