Biography:

John Makinde works at the Department of Animal Science, Federal University, Gashua, Nigeria. His research focuses on Animal Science, Biotechnology, Agricultural Plant Science, Climate Change, and the WEF nexus. Currently, he is leading a collaborative project to turn the threat of Typha in Nigerian irrigation schemes into an opportunity to enhance farmers' livelihoods. This project involves collaboration with the University of Maryland, USA, University Polytechnic Madrid, Spain, FUGA, and NAERLS, Nigeria. John has over 10 years of experience teaching and conducting research in animal nutrition physiology.
