Biography:

Vittoria Castiglioni qualified in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Milan, Italy, in 2009. She then began her PhD working on the role of histopathology in the approach to mouse xenograft models of human cancer. After completing her PhD in 2014, she was in charge of a diagnostic immunohistochemistry service provided by a spinoff company of the University of Milan, and provided immunohistochemistry interpretation to other companies, including IDEXX Germany, Italy and France. Vittoria passed the European College of Veterinary Pathologist (ECVP) Board Examinations in February 2015 and joined IDEXX in October 2015 where she now is a diagnostic veterinary pathologist for Italy and UK. Her particular interests include small animal oncology and immunohistochemistry.
