Biography:

Dr. Băbţan Anida-Maria is an assistant professor in the Oral Rehabilitation Department at the Faculty of Dental Medicine, University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Iuliu Hațieganu" in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She is an Oral Surgeon with interests in preoperative maxillary benign pathology assessment and postoperative monitoring using oral cavity echography, collagen glycation and the aging process in soft tissues, high-frequency ultrasonographic assessment, and the clinical manifestations of chronic inflammation associated with diet and external factors in both oral and general health. Dr. Băbțan has won two PhD grants and is a member of three international research programs focusing on oral cavity biosensors and salivary biomarkers.
